The Nomad Pop-Up Hotel is the first one of it’s kind in Portugal. We spring up in a fabulous location, only to disappear in a flash, leaving no trace that we were ever there.
We are true nomads, and offer our guests more than just a place to sleep.
In segments of time ranging from a day, a week, to maybe a whole season, we set up shop in the most dreamy landscapes you could imagine, all along the Portuguese coastline and countryside.
Our philosophy is to offer premium accommodation in a harmonious place where daily stress melts away. Guests can relax and reboot energy surrounded by unspoiled nature. A place where nature, ecological values, comfort and cutting edge design combine for the breathtaking nomadic adventure.
Our tents are designed and equipped with the best materials to offer our guests the best experience and comfort during any season of the year.
Festival Season 2016
For the very first time The Nomad Pop-Up Hotel offered it’s glamping services at MEO Sudoeste (03-07 August 2016), Vodafone Paredes de Coura (17-20 August 2016) as well as Festival Forte (25-29 August 2016). Offering a private site featuring beautiful creamy canvas bell tents, in the heart of the festival right by the riverside. Allowing guests to sleep close to the action in comfort, privacy and peace, whilst having exclusive access to additional services and extras.
The long-term goal of The Nomad is to become the best choice for temporary eco-lodging by creating a differentiated experience capitalising on personal service, the accommodation experience (luxury in tents), and its mobility to unique locations in the most picturesque parts of Portugal.
We plan to create an environment of pampered luxury in safari styled living with unforgettable in-destination experiences.
The Nomad is built on the genuine experience of nature, so it’s a given that sustainability and ecological values are two pillars of our hotel operation.
We setup our glamping tents in the natural forest while hardly affecting the surroundings. We choose material and construction techniques that have as little environmental impact as possible. We build without destroying, we do not chop down any trees or damage nature while operating and we mostly use local suppliers for all our needs.
