The Nomad Pop-Up Hotel is the first one of it’s kind in Portugal. We spring up in a fabulous location, only to disappear in a flash, leaving no trace that we were ever there.
We are true nomads, and offer our guests more than just a place to sleep.
In segments of time ranging from a day, a week, to maybe a whole season, we set up shop in the most dreamy landscapes you could imagine.
Our philosophy is to offer premium outdoor accommodation in a harmonious place where daily stress melts away. Guests can relax and reboot energy surrounded by unspoiled nature. A place where nature, ecological values and comfort combine for the breathtaking nomadic adventure.
The Nomad Pop-Up Hotel offered glamping accommodation services at:
Offering a private site featuring beautiful creamy canvas bell tents, in the heart of the festival. Allowing guests to stay close to the action with additional comfort and privacy, whilst having exclusive access to additional services and extras.
The long-term goal of The Nomad is to become the best choice for temporary eco-lodging by creating a differentiated experience capitalising on personal service, the outdoor accommodation experience (glamping), and its mobility to unique locations in the most picturesque parts of Portugal.
We plan to create an environment of safari styled living with unforgettable in-destination experiences.
The Nomad is built on the genuine experience of nature, so it’s a given that sustainability and ecological values are two pillars of our hotel operation.
We setup our glamping tents in the natural forest while hardly affecting the surroundings. We choose material and construction techniques that have as little environmental impact as possible. We build without destroying, we do not chop down any trees or damage nature while operating and we mostly use local suppliers for all our needs.
Imagine exploring a country where you can find a huge diversity of landscapes and environments in a small area: sandy beaches as far as the eye can see, golden plains and mountains, vibrant and cosmopolitan cities and millennial heritage.Climate
In terms of climate, the winters are mild and summers hot and dry.
Did you know that the number of hours of sunshine per year reaches values as high as 3300 hours in the south of the country and 1600 in the north, some of the highest in Europe?Geographical
Portugal has an excellent geographical location. At the meeting point between three continents – Europe, Africa and America -, it has always been central to the most important international routes. Here you can find international airports all over the country – Lisbon, Faro and Porto have regular connections to major cities in the world.Tourism
Tourism is growing every year in Portugal, its landscapes, culture and prices makes it an affordable vacation for millions of tourists all year round.Gastronomy
The most distinctive feature of Portuguese cuisine comes from the sea. Enjoy a simple grilled fish, always fresh like the seafood that abounds from end to end along the coast.Festivals
Music, sun and sea, partying every night and 850km of beaches: this is the best combination, at summer festivals in Portugal.
You have great concerts, excellent beaches, nice people and nights that last until daybreak. From shows with major international talents to intimitate events in secluded beaches, Portugal loves its festivals.
Portugal is an all-year round surf destination thanks to the miles of coastline which picks up all the Atlantic swells. The biggest of these occur from October to April. Every type of break is represented – beach breaks, reefs, river mouths and points.
